DHCC wellness program screens employees of Dubai Chamber and Knowledge and Human Development Authority

In line with Dubai Healthcare City‘s commitment to the health and wellness of the UAE community, this quarter, the free zone carried out the first and second screenings under the ‘Dubai Healthcare City Corporate Wellness Program’, an initiative that aims to raise awareness amongst Dubai’s workforce towards the importance of regular health checks. Our first stop was Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where we screened close to 100 employees in October by carrying out risk assessment and advising health management to prevent or delay the onset of diseases including lifestyle-related conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. The second round of our program screened close to 75 Knowledge and Human Development Authority employees in November, raising awareness on the importance of preventative care, providing consultation and screening in ophthalmology, orthopedics, nutrition and urology.
