Building on more than two decades of participation in the World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai, formerly known as Arab Health the Middle East’s largest and most important healthcare event and congress, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) proudly took part in the 2025 edition, reaffirming our commitment in advancing Dubai’s healthcare sector.
At WHX Dubai 2025, we announced several strategic partnerships and initiatives aimed at elevating healthcare standards and strengthening our position as the enabling healthcare and wellness destination, supporting a dynamic ecosystem where our business partners can succeed. These include agreements with Al Jalila Foundation to boost medical education and research, and the inauguration of AirMed International’s regional office in DHCC. In the space of artificial intelligence (AI), we revealed a new AI-driven solution to enhance medical claims management in collaboration with AI & Quantum Intelligence Institute (AIQII). We also inaugurated Acorn Research’s AI Healthcare Innovation Lab, further enriching our ecosystem with cutting-edge technological advancements.
We also recognise that health is a cornerstone of a prosperous society. Through ongoing partnerships with humanitarian organisations, we empower individuals, strengthen communities and support the nation's wellbeing. Our recent participation in the charitable event The Hope Run, in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation, reflects our continued focus on healthcare objectives and promoting a spirit of compassion and solidarity.

Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health, in partnership with the Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) and with the support of the Dubai Sports Council, organised The Hope Run, a charitable event in aid of The Child Fund, a charity fund dedicated to providing specialised medical care for children in need.
Held at the Dubai Healthcare City Phase 2 Promenade (Al Jaddaf), the event took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee and Vice Chairman of Dubai Health Board of Directors. The Hope Run attracted over 1,500 participants, including 300 children, who ran distances ranging from 1 to 3 kilometres.
His Highness Sheikh Mansoor praised the efforts of all participants and supporters, emphasising that The Hope Run exemplifies the spirit of the UAE’s Year of Community 2025. He highlighted the power of sports in strengthening social bonds and fostering collective action, noting that the event was a remarkable demonstration of the UAE’s commitment to nurturing future generations by ensuring they receive the healthcare they deserve.

World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2025 marked the announcement of a strategic partnership between Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) and Al Jalila Foundation to advance collaborative research, promote knowledge exchange and drive forward new initiatives to enhance regional healthcare services.
As part of the partnership, DHCA will promote Al Jalila Foundation as its ‘Charity of Choice,’ supporting fundraising efforts and key initiatives, including the Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital. The partnership will also focus on charitable and humanitarian efforts in the healthcare sector, encouraging volunteerism and supporting the development of aspiring healthcare professionals through enhanced medical education opportunities. In addition, Al Jalila Foundation will deliver its ‘Wellness on Wheels’ mobile clinic services across our community and introduce new volunteer engagement initiatives, further strengthening community outreach.

Dubai Healthcare Authority (DHCA) recently introduced an AI-driven medical claims analysis solution in partnership with the AI & Quantum Intelligence Institute (AIQII), the regional representative of Generative Technologies Inc.
This world-first partnership marks the first systematic collaboration between a healthcare free zone authority and an AI specialist to optimise revenue cycle management at scale, set to benefit over 300 healthcare providers operating within Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).
The AI-powered solution is designed to enhance operational efficiency by increasing first-pass acceptance rates, streamlining rejected claims resolution and significantly reducing administrative burdens. As part of the launch, AIQII is introducing a Beta testing programme, offering complimentary claims analysis to participating providers, who will also receive 50% of any recovered amounts at no additional cost.

Acorn Research, a Dubai-based pioneer in healthcare advisory and technology, has officially launched its AI Healthcare Innovation Lab in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) during World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2025. The cutting-edge facility is set to revolutionise healthcare delivery across the UAE, the MENA region and beyond.
The lab aims to accelerate the adoption of value-based healthcare (VBHC) and improve patient outcomes through AI-driven solutions, as well as serve as a platform to encourage collaborations among healthcare professionals, policymakers and AI experts to enhance patient outcomes.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision of advancing healthcare excellence while supporting the strategic objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, through digital transformation and innovation.

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) achieved a significant milestone by being awarded the ESG Label, the UAE’s highest recognition for excellence in sustainability and ESG reporting.
The prestigious accolade was presented by Dubai Chambers during World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai 2025 at DHCC stand, in the presence of H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Chambers, and Issam Galadari, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA). This recognition underscores DHCA’s ongoing leadership in sustainable healthcare practices and reinforces its contribution to positioning Dubai as a global leader in sustainability.
On 18 March 2025, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) hosted an elegant Suhoor for its community members at Amassi Ramadan Majlis, One&Only One Za’abeel. The evening encouraged networking and cultural exchange amongst esteemed guests and the DHCC community. During Autism Awareness Month, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) hosted Colours of Connection, a collaborative event that brought the community together in a celebration of inclusion. The heartwarming event featured Emirati Artist Ahmed Al Mahri, a calligrapher and visual artist specialising in free Arabic calligraphy and street art painting. Children from DHCC’s esteemed business partners including The Doris- Duan-Young Autism Center, The New England Center for Children Clinic, Advanced Behavioural Learning Environment UK and The Speech Clinic joined the artist in a vibrant painting session, creating a unique large-scale community canvas.
The celebration aimed to integrate individuals with autism into the wider community, creating a sense of belonging and promoting collaboration and inclusivity. DHCC extends its heartfelt gratitude to The New England Center for Children Clinic for coordinating and facilitating the event.

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) marked World Down Syndrome Day with a vibrant community celebration, reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity and raising awareness about the importance of empowering individuals of all abilities.
As part of the event, the Speech Clinic welcomed Aati Shan, a Special Olympics athlete and proud representative of the UAE. Aati, accompanied by her family, shared her inspiring journey, highlighting her achievements in sports and her role as an advocate for the Down Syndrome community. Her story captivated the audience and served as a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience and limitless potential of every individual.
Moreover, The New England Center for Children Clinic hosted the engaging “Rock Your Socks” event, encouraging participants to express themselves through creativity, art and community activities. The day was a fun-filled celebration filled with connection and purpose, honouring differences while promoting unity and support for individuals with Down Syndrome.

Dr. Sameh Hany is a dedicated aesthetic and regenerative medicine physician, a role that reflects his passion for helping patients achieve optimal wellbeing through innovative, evidence-based care. As the Founder and Medical Director of New Me Clinic, he leads clinical operations and strategic planning. Since opening in 2022, the clinic has grown, with two branches now operating within Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).
Prior to opening the clinic, Dr. Hany was a member of C37, the UAE’s first private medical workspace that is fully managed and operated by DHCC. His time at C37 served as a stepping stone in his professional journey, offering a dynamic platform to practice his speciality, develop strategies and strengthen his network. The supportive team and dynamic environment team at C37 played an instrumental role in empowering the successful launch of his clinic.
“As a member of C37, I was offered a unique opportunity to refine my skills in a supportive atmosphere, enabling me to expand my vision to setup my own clinic and empowered me with the necessary knowledge and tools needed to create a space focused on quality care and professional development.”

He also contributes regularly as a speaker and panellist at international conferences and forums, sharing insights on emerging trends in aesthetics and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Hany holds a medical degree (MBBCh) and have pursued advanced qualifications in aesthetic and regenerative medicine. His academic and professional credentials include Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, an International Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine, an American Diploma in Regenerative Medicine and ISSCA membership for advanced stem cell treatments.
