Dubai Healthcare City welcomed the Canadian Ambassador, HE Arif Lalani, and HE Ross Miller, Consul General to Dubai and Northern Emirates along with a Canadian delegation, to discuss future cooperation between DHCC and the Canadian government to promote medical education in the country.

The Canadian delegation was warmly received by Marwan Abedin, DHCC’s Chief Executive Officer, Ammar S. Hattab, Dr Amer Sharif, Managing Director of DHCC’s education division and Dr Wajdi Al Daghma, Managing Director of Strategy and Business Development.

The delegation’s visit falls in line with DHCC’s continued efforts to promote medical education and to drive the advancement of healthcare services, medical education and scientific research within Dubai and the UAE. DHCC is an internationally recognized centre of healthcare excellence and is committed to education through the provision of institutions representing global standards in healthcare education.

Speaking about the visit, Marwan Abedin DHCC CEO said ‘we are delighted to welcome the Canadian Ambassador and his delegation to DHCC.
