Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and Emirates Medical Association (EMA) collaborate to further medical education

The agreement will see both parties collaborate to advance medical education and research opportunities, with a particular emphasis on increasing the availability of continuous professional development programmes across multiple specialisations, to develop national expertise and capabilities and ultimately establishing a sustainable healthcare workforce.

 

Marwan Abedin, DHCC CEO said ‘DHCC and EMA endeavor to promote quality medical education and through this unique collaboration we will improve access to the very highest standards of training and resources, not only within the DHCC community, but to all public and private medical institutions in the region’.

 

The cooperation includes supporting the ambitions of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center, the education and research arm of DHCC, which provides world-class learning facilities and resources for healthcare professionals. Emirates Medical Association, a non-profit organization led by qualified medical doctors, similarly strives to advance the national standards of healthcare, with a particular emphasis on education.
