Marwan Abedin, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City said “DHCC is committed to improving the health of our community. Thalassemia is a genetic disorder that affects red blood cells and patients depend upon routine blood transfusions. Events such as this not only raise awareness of the challenges faced by Thalassemia patients, but draw attention to the on-going need for regular donations. We thank everyone who generously donated today and has made a significant difference to someone else’s well-being.”
