Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences unveils visual identity

HH Sheikh Mohammad lanches the logo and identity of the new MBR-UMHS at the DHCC Arab Health stand.

January 26, 2015. On the opening of Arab Health 2015, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the Middle East’s largest healthcare event, and paid a visit to the Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) stand where the logo and visual identity of the Mohammad Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBR-UMHS) was unveiled before him.

HH Sheikh Mohammed was received by Her Excellency Dr Raja Easa Al Gurg, Vice-Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority and Marwan Abedin, Chief Executive Officer of DHCC in the presence of senior officials and management.

The logo is a single letter ‘M’, the starting letter of His Highness’ name, represented bilingually – English and Arabic. The logo reflects the symbol of infinity. It is set against a blue background, symbolizing water and continuity.  Together, the symbolism ties in the concept of infinity.

The philosophy of the logo underscores Dubai Healthcare City’s mission of enabling high quality medical education and research.

The unveiling was accompanied by a video presentation that showcased highlights of the MBR-UMHS located at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center, the seat of medical education and research at Dubai Healthcare City.
