To kick start the 47th UAE National Day Celebrations, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) today organized and served a potluck lunch for its service staff. The event captured true Emirati hospitality, as a gesture of appreciation for people who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
The initiative, in line with the Year of Zayed, aims to celebrate the spirit of UAE tradition – being respectful towards the work of every member of society in building the UAE and advancing it growth.
The Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA) Leadership Team led by Omar Oumeish, Executive Director, DHCA; Dr. Ramadan AlBlooshi, CEO, Dubai Healthcare City Authority – Regulatory (DHCR) and Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, CEO, Dubai Healthcare City Medical, along with several DHCC employees served food to the service staff, exchanged conversations about their experiences in DHCC while enjoying the festivities with a global spread of cuisines.
Dr. AlBlooshi said, “Following the footsteps of our late founding father, Sheikh Zayed, who valued every member of society, we in Dubai Healthcare City, wanted to show a token of appreciation for our service staff - the unsung heroes who put in a lot of hard work behind the scenes to maintain our community. As part of our National Day celebrations, our potluck lunch today, conveyed our appreciation towards them, and also manifested the cultural pluralism that the UAE has always been known to exhibit.”
More than 150 outsourced members attended the event, which included staff from Emrill, DHCC’s facilities management partners, and Arkan, DHCC’s security management partners.
Later this week, more than 400 DHCC-registered facilities and approximately 10,000 people working in the free zone are invited to join the city’s National Day celebrations, taking place at Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Complex.
