In November 2023, the focus of the Cancer Awareness Season shifted towards raising awareness about men's health and the various cancers that can affect them, specifically prostate cancer.

As part of the concluding activities for the Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) organised an awareness session, where Dr. Ali Al Thwaini, Consultant Urologist at Mediclinic City Hospital, shared valuable insights about the disease and stressed the importance of preventive measures, such as early detection and regular check-ups. This comprehensive approach aimed to raise awareness, facilitate knowledge sharing and education, and provide support for the attendees, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the diverse facets of this critical health concern.
